What you will be doing:

  • Perform remodeling, repairs and preventative maintenance, which may include coordinating buildings, grounds and off-site properties. i.e. studio build out, office settings and warehousing
  • Daily duties include assigned work scheduled per project
  • Assist in construction projects such as drywall, carpentry, painting, installation of fixtures, build out, flooring, repair etc.
  • Respond appropriately to internal requests and urgent situations that arise
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures by checking building management systems regularly
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team members to reach common goals
  • Assist with the shipping and receiving of equipment, products and furniture
  • Vendor support as necessary
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

What you bring to the table:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-5 years of carpentry, drywall installation and repair, painting and mechanical work
  • Experience in maintaining facilities both interior and exterior grounds
  • 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing, distribution, construction industry strongly preferred
  • Must have knowledge of how to operate general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, ladders, forklift, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
  • Proficient working with computers, hand held devices, maintenance software and Microsoft Office knowledge (Word and Outlook)
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but English is required
  • Good attendance
