What you will be doing:

The Content Writer position is a conceptual thinker that is always looking for new and surprising ideas. This role is responsible for concepting ideas from scratch, as well as responding to detailed briefs and working one on one, or with a group to help improve the project and move it forward. This position expresses ideas with efficient and impactful copy to generate breakthrough creative.

The Content Writer has a keen awareness of the regulatory nuances surrounding the written word, which phrases are allowable in different mediums, particularly TV, radio, digital and print, with regard to communicating the benefits and uses of a supplement. This role will write for different channels of media, and abide by the specific governing regulations (which differ) on TV, radio, print, web, and social.

  • Translate scientific or clinical findings regarding features and benefits of products in portfolio for consumer facing materials in all mediums
  • Ensure copy is created within the existing guidelines of governing bodies such as the FTC and FDA, and will pass legal approvals without changing the meaning of the product's benefits or uses
  • Create, present, and produce compelling, persuasive and original ideas for all portfolio brands.
  • Write accurate, clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
  • Help develop copy and content for a variety of print and digital projects, as well, writing outlines and key talking points for television segments
  • Interpret the creative process and follow jobs from startup to completion
  • Contribute strategically to the long-term vision of the brand
  • Understand the basic content principles to ensure created content works to achieve marketing goals
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of all assigned brands and FDA regulations, as well as understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Submit work and edit, or recreate according to the approvals process including: creative/marketing Medical/Legal/Regulatory review
  • Take direction from various point people regardless of title, on projects
  • Stay current on cultural trends and bring a modern perspective to all of work

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years Healthcare or Health & Wellness B2C advertising
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish languages required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Primary qualification is experience working with content creation for a supplement, OTC, or other CPG brand which advertising and claims are regulated by governmental agencies
  • Experience writing in the digital space: websites, landing pages, blogs, quotes for posts
  • Experience writing in different channels of media, and abiding by the specific governing regulations (which differ) on TV, radio, print, web, social
  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual abilities and writing skills
