What you will be doing:

  • Daily check-ins with network operations, IT technical resources, and enterprise data teams
  • Receive, distribute, maintain necessary security planning and audit tracking documentation
  • Assist in performing security assessments and audits to ensure most up-to-date versioning
  • Communicate regularly with managers on the current status of all projects in progress
  • Gather and research materials needed for the best practices and industry standard security processes and practices
  • Work closely with network operations to understand and assist with adherence to PCI compliance standards.
  • Assist with documenting current and future state environments
  • Assist network operations with network infrastructure and other relevant design/configuration aspects

What you bring to the table:

  • Recent graduate or upper level student of an accredited university
  • Experience with or documented education in network security
  • Ideally pursuing (or intent of) certification in network / cyber security
  • Must be highly collaborative and able to maintain creative excellence in a fast-paced, ever changing landscape
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, network security and network monitoring tool sets
  • Strong time management, project management, and presenting skills
  • Strong communicator with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, de-prioritize daily functions and provide suggestions/solutions
