Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative functions supporting the Talent Acquisition Team to maximize the efficiency of recruiting and hiring efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requisitions in internal Career Center, Applicant Tracking System and other job boards
- Schedule meetings and interviews, send calendar invites, and confirm phone and onsite interviews
- Monitor candidate applications for completion
- Communicate updates to Talent Acquisition Team on an ongoing basis
- Communicate with all levels of the organization and candidates for positions at various levels
- Process background checks and drug tests
- Assist with sourcing and pre-screening candidates for multiple job requisitions
- Contribute to ongoing recruitment and onboarding processes and initiatives
- Provide support to candidates during the recruitment process
- Prepare reports as needed
- Conduct reference checks for potential new hires
- Serve as backup to Human Resources and Benefit Coordinators and serve as a liaison between Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
- Stay abreast of Talent Acquisition trends and best practices and make suggestions for areas of improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a 4 year degree program in Human Resources or a related field
- 1-2 years' experience administering a HR or Talent Acquisition function desired
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now Talent Management, ApplicantPro or related HR talent software a plus
- Must have a passion for recruiting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office including Outlook and Excel
- Able to work in a fast paced, multi-project environment with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and take on other projects in addition to current role responsibilities
- Must be creative and possess strong analytical skills
Physical/Work Environment/Expectations
While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to:
- Operate in a professional office environment
- Constantly use work related equipment
- To use hands, finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- To sit for long periods of time (up to 10 hours per day); however, some filing is required
- To lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
- Ability to work regular, full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with flexibility to work additional hours depending on business demands
